Welcome to the website of the Employees' Retirement System of Rhode Island (ERSRI)! The ERSRI team works every day to make sure that we are a trusted partner for retired, current, and future public servants as well as their employers.
We hope this site will be a useful and transparent resource for current and future members of the system as well as for the prospective members and the public looking for information about our retirement system.
Active members can access a range of retirement planning tools, including the Member Handbook, information about schedules, accrual rates, contributions, service credits, and optional service purchases. You can also view this information in real time by logging into your personal account through the ERSRI Member Portal.
Retired members can download forms, learn about cost-of-living adjustments (COLA) and post-retirement employment rules, and log into the ERSRI Member Portal to view personal details, beneficiaries, paystubs, and 1099s—or make updates to tax withholding elections.
Employers can find current contribution rates, employer forms, guidance documents and training tools, the post-retirement employment data collection manual (including good-faith letter templates), as well as access the ERSRI Employer Portal.
