By enrolling in ERSRI text message communications, you agree to receive SMS messages related to your account, appointments, service updates, and responses to your inquiries. Message frequency varies; you may receive between 1 and 5 messages per month depending on your interaction with ERSRI services.

When you enroll in ERSRI SMS communications, we may collect:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • Your name (if provided during enrollment)
  • Message content you send to ERSRI (for service‑related support)
  • Operational metadata such as delivery status, timestamps, and carrier information

 

ERSRI does not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, or any highly sensitive personal identifiers through SMS. Your information is used solely for the purposes of:

  • Sending account‑related notifications
  • Providing appointment reminders or scheduling updates
  • Delivering service‑related alerts
  • Responding to messages you initiate
  • Verifying program participation and ensuring message delivery

 

ERSRI does not use SMS data for marketing, promotional activities, or analytics unrelated to your services.

ERSRI does not sell, rent, trade, or disclose your SMS‑related information to third parties.

ERSRI implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect SMS‑related information, consistent with state security and privacy practices. Security measures include:

  • Access controls and role‑based permissions
  • Secure system logging and monitoring
  • Restrictions on unauthorized use or disclosure
  • Vendor compliance with state security requirements

 

ERSRI sends SMS messages 1–5 times per month, depending on your account activity and service needs.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
You will receive a confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages unless you re‑enroll.

ERSRI does not charge for SMS messages; however, message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

ERSRI complies with Rhode Island state laws governing confidentiality, public records, identity‑theft protection, and the appropriate release of personal information.
